Alert Message with Custom Image/Video



Admins can send emergency notifications with a customized image or video to the enrolled devices.

To send an emergency alert message with a customized image/video and deploy it to the enrolled device(s) or group(s), follow these steps:

1.  On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to Jobs > New Job > Android > Alert Message > Upload Existing Alert.

2.  Configure the required settings and click OK.

Settings

Descriptions

Job Name

Enter a job name.

Select File Type

Select the required file type:

  • Image

        Alert Image - Browse and select an image.

        Scale Image - Select from the following image:

  •       Normal
  •       Fit to screen
  •      Full Screen
  • Video

        Alert Video URL - Enter the URL of the alert video.

Preview

Use this option to see a preview of the created alert message.

Alert Type

Select an Alert Type:

1. Display Alert - Displays the alert message directly on the device.

  • Enable Buzz - Creates a buzzing sound on the device for a specified time.
  • Close Alert Popup - Closes the alert message after the specified time.

2. Display Popup - Displays the alert message as a popup.

  • Title - Title name of the alert popup.
  • Message - Message for the alert popup.
  • Enable Snooze - By enabling this option, the user will have an option to snooze  the alert message.


 The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section

3.  Go to Home tab and select the Android device(s) or group(s).

4.  Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

5.  In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the job and click Apply.
