DeepThought 2.0 (Beta)
DeepThought 2.0 is an AI-powered assistant integrated into the SureMDM console. It helps users retrieve information, understand device and account data, and get insights using natural language instead of manually navigating through multiple console screens.
DeepThought 2.0 is currently available as a beta feature.
Accessing DeepThought 2.0
DeepThought 2.0 is available to enterprise-tier accounts. The Account Admin can grant DeepThought access to up to two users. The Account Admin can either retain access and assign access to one additional user, or assign access to two other users. All users assigned DeepThought access are considered authorized users and can access DeepThought from the SureMDM console.
Authorized users can access DeepThought by selecting the DeepThought icon in the top-right corner of the SureMDM console.
Configuring DeepThought 2.0 Access
The Account Admin can manage DeepThought access by navigating to: SureMDM Home > Settings > Account Settings > Account Management > DeepThought Access for User (Beta).
Select DeepThought User 1 and DeepThought User 2 from the respective dropdowns to grant them access to DeepThought.
Click Save to apply the changes.
If the users who already have DeepThought access are changed, all chat history associated with the previously assigned users will be erased.
Interacting with DeepThought 2.0
Once DeepThought is open, enter questions or requests in natural language. DeepThought processes the request and provides a response based on the information available. Users can also ask follow-up questions within the same conversation to explore the information further. For example, a user can ask about devices requiring attention and then ask a follow-up question about the reasons for their status.
DeepThought uses the current SureMDM page as context to provide responses relevant to the section being viewed. The context automatically updates when navigating to another section of the console. For example, when the Home page is open, Home is used as the context and responses are generated based on the information available in that section.
What DeepThought Can Provide
Depending on the query and available data, DeepThought can provide:
- Information about devices and their status
- Data usage insights
- Account-related information
- Summaries and explanations of available data
- Contextual insights
The information provided is based on the data and capabilities available to DeepThought at the time of the request.
Follow-up Queries
DeepThought 2.0 supports conversational follow-up questions within the same session. This allows you to ask related questions without repeating the complete context.
For example:
Question 1: Show me devices that require attention.
Question 2: What are the reasons for these devices?
DeepThought uses the conversation context to help answer related follow-up questions.
Data privacy and Access control
DeepThought 2.0 follows the access permissions of the logged-in SureMDM user. Users can only access information they are authorized to view. Do not enter sensitive information, credentials, passwords, or confidential data into the DeepThought chat.
Best Practices
