Create an Enterprise App Store

This involves accessing the SureMDM Web Console and navigating to the App Store section. By adding new apps through options like APK upload, APK links, or web apps, organizations can curate a collection of applications tailored to their needs. The App Store screen becomes a hub for approved apps.

To create an enterprise App Store, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > App Store > Android > Add new app.

2. Select the desired option from Select Options to add an application.

  • Upload APK
  • APK link
  • Web App

Upload APK

  • Click Browse File to select and upload the .apk file.
  • App Title, Package ID, Version, Version Code fields will auto-fill automatically.
  • Enter the Category and Description.
  • Click Add.

APK Link

  • Enter the API Link to add the application.
  • Click Add

Web App

  • Enter the Title of the application.
  • Enter the web application link in the Web Link field.
  • Enter the Category and Description.
  • Browse and select the image for the logo.
  • Once done, click Add.

     Once the app is successfully added, the application will start reflecting on the App Store screen.

Admins can upload multiple versions of the same app.

Manage Apps in the Enterprise App Store (Android)​

When you click an application listed in the Enterprise App Store, an App Management popup appears. This popup provides several options to manage the selected application.

The following actions are available:

  • Edit App - Use this option to modify the app details such as the category or description.

  • Delete App - Use this option to remove the application from the Enterprise App Store.

  • Add (+) - Use this option to add a new application.

  • App Details - This section helps to view detailed information about the application and download it.

  • Assigned Profiles - Select a profile to assign to the app version or remove an assigned profile.

    note

    Assigning the selected app version will replace the current version in the profile and update all devices where the profile is linked.

  • Device Details – This section displays detailed information about the status of the application on individual devices.

Mobile Application Management will be supported only from SureMDM Agent Version >= v27.46.59.
