Browser Preferences
Browser Preferences provides options to manage and control security settings and advanced browser settings.
Navigate to SureFox Settings > Browser Preferences and you will find the following settings:

| SureFox Administrator Password | Change the password to access SureFox Admin Settings. See Change SureFox Administrator Password. |
| Go to Home on Access Denied | Navigates to SureFox Home Screen when an unallowed URL is accessed. |
| Go to Home on Network Gain | Navigates to SureFox Home Screen when the device regains network connection. |
| Restrict Settings Menu | Restricts access to SureFox Settings after the specified time until reboot. |
| Restrict Settings After (Minutes) | Allows admin to set the time interval after which SureFox settings will not be accessible until the device undergoes a reboot. |
| Tap Count | Change the default number of taps (5) to a desired number of taps to access SureFox Settings. See Change Tap Count. |
| Prevent Device Suspend | Ensures the device never suspends or locks. Keeps the device screen always ON when SureFox is running. |
| Allow Icon Relocation | Allows relocation of the icon on the SureFox Home Screen. This option once enabled will let the user drag and organize icons on the home screen. |
| Allow Icon Resize | Allows resizing of the icon on the SureFox Home Screen. This option lets the user increase/decrease the icon size on the home screen. |
| Reset Icon Layout | Resets the icon layout to the default. |
| Adjust Brightness | Use the slider to adjust and lock the brightness of the device screen. |
| User Agent | Helps admin to set the user agent as a part of the request header when the request is sent from SureFox to the web server. Note: User agent is always set to default and will be same as the user agent of the Safari browser of the device. |
| Ignore SSL Warnings | Ignores the SSL warnings from the website and opens the website normally. |
| Enable Custom User Agent Header | Allows admin to configure customized User Agent Header. |
| Custom User Agent Header | Allows admin to define the user agent using which SureFox can request web servers. Admin can specify the user agent header in this feature. |
| Clear Cookies on Home | Removes all the cookies stored by SureFox on device memory when the user returns to SureFox Home Screen. |
| Clear App Cache on Home | Removes all cached data stored by SureFox on device memory when the user returns to SureFox Home Screen. |
| Show Navigation Toolbar | Shows Navigation toolbar with Home, Refresh, Back and Forward buttons in SureFox. See Configure Navigation Toolbar. |
| Shows Options Menu on Browser Screen | Hides Navigation toolbar and displays 3 dots |
| Enable Special Links | Configure special links for phone numbers and print links on the web page. See Configure Special Links. |
| Enable Toast Messages | Notifies the user with a small notification pop-up when any unallowed websites are accessed. |
| Allow Pop-Ups | Allows pop-up link to open on the existing web page as a pop-up. |
| Show Pop-Ups in same window | Navigates to a pop-up link rather than opening as a pop-up on the existing web page. |
| Enable Copy Paste | Allows copy/paste option on the web page. |
| Enable Zoom | Allows zoom-in and zoom-out options on the web page |
| Set Initial Zoom Level | Allows setting the desired zoom level. The specified zoom level will be set when the web page is launched. Note: Zoom level can be set from 100% to 999%. |
| WebView Bounce | Turn-on this option to enable web view bounce on the allowed websites. |
| Enable Full Screen | Disables and hides the top notification bar and runs SureFox on full-screen mode. |
| Refresh Current Page on Recovering from Error | Refreshes the current page while recovering from an error. |
| Browser Orientation | Select an option from the following to set the Orientation for the browser: None - No orientation or position is set for the browser screen Landscape - Sets screen orientation in Landscape mode Portrait - Sets screen orientation in Portrait mode |
| Configure Tabbed Browsing | Allows the user to open multiple tabs for browsing. See Configure Tabbed Browsing. |
| Enable Loading Icon | Displays the loading icon when the web page is loading. |
| Wallpaper Settings | Sets a personalized wallpaper on SureFox Home Screen. See Configure Wallpaper Settings. |
| Idle Timeout (Seconds) | Select this feature and set an inactive time period (in seconds) after which the device goes to sleep. Idle Timeout can be configured only for the following options: Go To Home, Screensaver Mode, Power Saver Mode |
| Go To Home | Redirects the screen to SureFox Home Screen after a specific time of device inactivity. |
| Screensaver Mode | Sets image or video as a screensaver for the device on inactivity. See Configure Screensaver Settings. |
| Power Saver Mode | Configure the power saving option on device inactivity. See Configure Power Saving Mode. |
| Enable Upload Server | Turn on the toggle to upload or delete files from SureFox File Manager. See Enable Upload Server. |
| Run On Port | Admin can change the port for Upload Server. Note: The default server port will be 8080. |
| Show Files Using Google Docs | Turn on the toggle to enable viewing of different file types such as pdf files, documents, zipped files within the browser using Google Docs. |
| Allow Downloads | Turn on the toggle to allow downloads from the approved websites only. On selection, a download icon will be visible on the SureFox home screen. |
| Open File After Download | Turn on the toggle to open the file immediately once after the download. |
| Keep Downloaded History | Turn on the toggle to see the history of downloaded files. When you click the Download icon from the SureFox home screen, you can see the history of downloaded files. |
