macOS Migration Experience

End-User Experience on macOS​

After the migration assignment is configured:

  1. Users are notified that the device must be enrolled in a different device management service before the specified deadline.

  2. The notification is also available through System Settings.

  1. Selecting Start Enrollment initiates the migration process.

  1. Upon clicking Enroll, users are prompted to enter their credentials in Setup Assistant to install the new device management service.

  1. Once the credentials are entered, the enrollment process is initiated, and the enrollment profile is automatically downloaded and installed.

  1. Upon successful enrollment, device management is transferred to SureMDM.
