Branding

This guide provides instructions on configuring the Branding settings for Linux devices using SureMDM. These settings allow administrators to customize the appearance of devices, including the Wallpaper, Lock screen, and LockScreen Messages. This ensures that the organization’s branding is consistent across all managed devices.

To create a branding profile and deploy it to the device(s), follow these steps:

  1. Login to your SureMDM console.
  2. Navigate to Profiles and create a new Linux profile or edit an existing one.
  3. Select Branding from the profile configuration options on the left panel.
  4. Configure the following settings and click Save:
SettingsDescription
Wallpaper/Lock Screen
Upload Image: Select the Upload Image button to upload a file from your computer. Supported formats include .jpg, .jpeg, and .png.
Enter Image Path: If the image is already hosted, use this field to specify the path directly.

Enable Login Screen Message: Check this box to enable the login screen message.
Set Custom Message: Enter the custom message that users will see on the login screen, prior to login.

note

A device logout/login is required for wallpaper and login screen changes to take effect.

  • Remove Branding

When deployed a profile to remove branding, all branding configurations previously applied via the SureMDM console will be permanently removed from the device. A reboot is required for these changes to take effect.

By following these steps, administrators can effectively manage the branding of their Linux devices to maintain consistency and adherence to company standards.
