Things Enrollment Using Bluetooth Connector


SureMDM offers the enrollment of Things devices using the Android Bluetooth connector.

Prerequisites

Follow the below steps to enroll the Bluetooth connector in SureMDM:

1. Download and install the Bluetooth Connector application on the Android device (Host device), then connect the Bluetooth connector to the Android device.

2. Launch the application.

3. The home screen displays the following details:

  • Device Name - Displays the device name.
  • Connection Status - Displays the connection status of the device as Connected/ Disconnected.
  • Settings - Using this option, you can add the SureMDM console details. 
  • Sync Now -  Using this option, you troubleshoot the problems and sync the device.

4. Click Settings on the home screen.

5. Enter the following details:

  • Account ID - Enter the SureMDM Account ID.
  • Gateway Password - Enter the Things Gateway Password.
  • Server Path - Enter the SureMDM Server URL.

Note: 

  1. Navigate to Settings on the top right corner of the SureMDM console to get the Account ID.
  2. The Gateway Password can be copied from the Enable Things Gateway section.
  3. The server path can be copied from the SureMDM URL.

6. Go back to the home screen to complete the enrollment process.

7. Once done, the user can see the connection status on the home screen.

8. The Bluetooth connector is now enrolled in the SureMDM Console.
