SureMDM Agent Settings (macOS)


SureMDM Agent Settings job remotely configures or updates SureMDM Agent settings on the enrolled devices. 

To create a job to remotely configure SureMDM Agent Settings on the enrolled device(s) or group(s), follow these steps:

1.  Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Jobs > New Job > macOS> SureMDM Agent Settings.    

2.  Enter a Job Name.

3.  Configure SureMDM Agent Settings and click OK.

Descriptions

Enable Password
  • Enter the password to access SureMDM Agent settings.
  • If enabled, the user must provide the password to uninstall the agent (This is supported on agent version 2.8.0 and above.).
  • The same password will be used for accessing the Settings tab and will be supported on agent version 3.1.0 and above.

Unattended Remote Support

Use this option to set the remote control permission on the device.

  • Allow 
  • Deny 
  • Prompt
  • Allow Silently(No notification)

Hide SureMDM Agent Icon In Taskbar
  • Select the option to hide the SureMDM agent icon in the taskbar.

The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section. 

4.  Go back to Home tab and select the Android Wear device(s) or group(s).

5.  Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

6.  In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the job and click Apply.
