Enroll Datalogic Gryphon GB4500 Scanner to SureMDM


To enroll the Datalogic Gryphon GB4500 Scanner to SureMDM Console, follow these steps:

Precondition: Device should be connected to the host machine via USB 

  1. The file “DatalogicScannerConnector.exe” is sent to the host machine.
  2. Double-click on the .exe file to start the installation process. Automatically, all the dependencies are installed, and the file contents are extracted to "C:\Program Files(x86)\42GearsDSC".
  3. Edit the "DSC.conf" file found in "C:\Program Files(x86)\42GearsDSC" and update the Account ID, Gateway Password, and Domain URL in the following format: serverDomain=<Domain_URL>

accountID=<Account_ID>

gatewayPassword=<Gateway_Password>

  1. Right-click on the "start.bat" file in the "C:\Program Files(x86)\42GearsDSC" directory and select "Run as Administrator". This will start the application as a Windows service, running in the background.
  2. The application will automatically retrieve the connected devices and enroll them in the configured account.
