Configure Mail Configuration Profile (iOS/iPadOS)
Mail Configuration profile allows admin to remotely configure email account on the enrolled devices.
Note: Currently this feature support settings configuration for POP or IMAP email accounts.
To configure an email account remotely on the enrolled device, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Profiles > iOS/iPadOS > Add > Mail Configuration > Configure.
2. Enter a Profile Name.
3. Configure Mail Configuration settings and click Save.

Enter the address of the email account. |
Allow User To Move Message From This Account |
Allow to move the message from this account to another. |
Allow Recent Addresses To Be Synced |
Allow to sync this account in recent address syncing. |
Use Only In Mail |
Allow to send outgoing mail from this account using Mail app. |
Enable Per Account VPN |
Enable VPN connection for the mail account.
1. iOS 14 or later. 2. VPN connection to be configured with OpenVPN connection type. |
Incoming Mail |

Mail Server and Port |
Enter the mail server and number of the port assigned to the incoming mail traffic. |
Username |
Enter a username for the email account. |
Authentication Type |
Select None/Password for the incoming mail. |
Use SSL |
Select to receive all communications through the Secure Socket Layer. |
Outgoing Mail |

Mail Server and Port |
Enter the mail server and number of the port assigned to the outgoing mail traffic. |
Username |
Enter a username for the email account |
Authentication Type |
Select None/Password for the outgoing mail. |
Use SSL |
Select to send all communications through the Secure Socket Layer. |
The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.
4. Go back to Home tab and select the iOS device(s) or group(s).
5. Click Apply to launch Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
6. In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the created profile and click Apply.
