Application Settings (Linux)
Application Settings job helps the user to manage the applications remotely based on selecting a Job Type from the following:
- Uninstall - Remove the application from the device
To create Application Settings job and push it to the device(s) or group remotely, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Jobs > New Job > Linux > Application Settings.
2. In the Application Settings prompt, enter the following details and click OK.
a. Enter a Job Name.
b. Select the Application Name(s) from the list.
c. Click Add to move Application Names to the right-side box.
d. Click Remove to remove the Application Names from the right- side box.
e. Select the desired Job Type.
The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.
3. Go back to Home tab and select Linux device(s) or group(s).
4. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
5. In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the job and click Apply.
