23. SureMDM User Management

User Management


Administrative Toolbar located at upper right corner of SureMDM Web Console provides user management features. It allows the administrator to create, edit and delete users who have the authorization of accessing SureMDM Web Console.


Note: This option is available only for a SureMDM Superuser.


To add a new user, follow below mentioned steps:


1. Login to SureMDM Web Console


2. On SureMDM Web Console Home, click on Settings icon located at top right of the screen


3. From Settings prompt, click on User Management


4. On Create New User prompt prompt, click on Add User


5. On Create User prompt, enter following details:


      - User Name


      - Password


      - Confirm Password


      - First Name


      - Last Name


      - Email


      - Phone Number


      - User Permissions


6. Click on OK to complete



User Permissions option allows you to customize permissions for a user and also allows you to create multiple custom permission profiles for quick and easy permission modification.


To modify permissions for a user, follow below mentioned steps:


1. Login to SureMDM Web Console


2. On SureMDM Web Console screen, click on Settings icon located at top right of the screen


3. From Settings prompt, click on User Management


4. On User Management prompt, select the user and click on Edit User


5. On Edit User Settings prompt, make the required changes


6. Click on User Permissions option, select Custom from User Permissions Type dropdown menu


7. Under Custom, select from the given options:


      - Group Permissions


      - Device Action Permissions


      - Device Management Permissions


      - Application Settings Permissions


      - Job Permissions


      - Report Permissions


      - User Management Permissions


      - Repair Center Permissions


      - Other Permissions


      - Allowed Groups


      - Allowed Job Folders


8. Once done selecting the desired options, click on OK to complete


Note: The permission changes will be applied next time the sub-user logs in to SureMDM Web Console.
