Control Apps with SureMDM

Using Apps option in Quick Action Toolbar following remote activities can be performed:

      - Remotely view details of all installed applications in the device

      - Remotely lock applications with a pin

      - Remotely configure applications to run at startup

      - Remotely Clear Data from an installed application

      - Remotely view permission requested by an application

      - Remotely uninstall an application

Note: Remote uninstallation of application and remote clear data is only available for rooted/Samsung KNOX/platform signed devices.

To lock application(s) with a pin using SureMDM, follow below mentioned steps:

1. Login to SureMDM Web Console

2. On SureMDM Web Console, select a device from Device List

3. Once device selected, click on Apps button in Quick Action Toolbar

4. On Application List prompt, select the appropriate tab from following options:

       - Downloaded Apps

       - System Apps

       - All Apps

5. Click and highlight the desired application and check the corresponding check box under Lock column

6. Click on Advanced

7. On Advanced Settings prompt, enter a pin to unlock the device

8. Click on Apply Changes to complete

Note: Lock pin created using Advanced option will be the same for all locked applications unless changed.

To configure an application to run at startup using SureMDM, follow below mentioned steps:

1. Login to SureMDM Web Console

2. On SureMDM Web Console, select a device from Device List

3. Once device selected, click on Apps button from Quick Action Toolbar

4. On Application List prompt, select the appropriate tab from following options:

       - Downloaded Apps

       - System Apps

       - All Apps

5. Click and highlight the desired application and check the corresponding check box under Run at Startup column

6.Click on Apply to complete

Note: You can also set a delay in startup of the selected application by using Startup Delay option.

To remotely uninstall an application using SureMDM, follow below mentioned steps:

1. Login to SureMDM Web Console

2. On SureMDM Web Console, select a device from Device List

3. Once device selected, click on Apps button from Quick Action Toolbar

4. On Application List prompt, click and highlight the application to be uninstalled

5. Now, click on Uninstall

6. The application will be uninstalled from the device

To remotely clear data off an application using SureMDM, follow below mentioned steps:

1. Login to SureMDM Web Console

2. On SureMDM Web Console, select a device from Device List

3. Once device selected, click on Apps button from Quick Action Toolbar

4. On Application List prompt, click and highlight the application to be uninstalled

5. Now, click on Clear Data

6. The application's data will be cleared from the device
